Richard Pyros is an acclaimed actor/director who has performed with many of the main-stage theatre companies nationally and internationally including the Royal Court, National Theatre, Almeida, Lyric Hammersmith, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, Leicester Curve, Sydney Theatre Company, Hebbel am Ufer (Berlin), Theatre de la Ville (Paris), The National Theatre of China and many more. From 2009-2012 Richard was a member of Sydney Theatre Company's Resident ensemble where he performed in eleven plays and starred opposite Cate Blanchett in the internationally touring, smash hit production, Gross und Klein. He was nominated for Best Actor at The Green Room Awards, Melbourne for his performance as Oedipus at the Malthouse Theatre. In 2013, he performed in and helped devise six new plays at London’s Royal Court Theatre. Richard also performed in the internationally touring production of The Good Person of Szechuan, for acclaimed Chinese director, Meng Jinghui at the National Theatre of China. In 2016, Richard performed in Simon Stone’s celebrated production of The Wild Duck and was back at The Royal Court Theatre, London in the world premiere of Anthony Neilson’s, Unreachable, opposite Matt Smith. Richard then starred as Lovborg in Ivo van Hove’s award-winning production of Hedda Gabler, for the National Theatre, London, touring the UK and Ireland. For screen, Richard started out as a lead performer and writer on Channel Seven Australia’s sketch comedy, Big Bite, played the title role in Melbourne International Film Festival’s lauded Hamlet, and was last seen on film as Randall ‘Teach’ Fuller, a major supporting role in Mel Gibson’s Oscar nominated feature film, Hacksaw Ridge, opposite Andrew Garfield, Vince Vaughn and Sam Worthington amongst others. He is currently seen on: Giri/Haji (Netflix/BBC), The Yearly (ABC), The Weekly (ABC), Fisk (ABC) and a recurring role in The Great (Hulu/Channel 4/Lionsgate+). Richard has also directed two immersive operas in London: Dido and Aeneas and Hansel and Gretel and earlier this year directed and co-wrote, Chopin’s Piano for Musica Viva, which toured to all the major concert halls across Australia. 

Amesh Edireweera is best known for his work in the role of ‘Ajay’ opposite Tahar Rahim in Netflix/BBC series The Serpent. He next appears with Ralph Fiennes in The Return, a feature film based on Homer's, The Odyssey. Amesh performed on stage in Machinal, Turbines, Rage, Spring Awakening and Twelfth Night with the Richard Burton Company at The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
